I was at first skeptical of this bag due to all the high end products on the market. Upon receiving this product I immediately noticed how well built it was. Another plus was that it can carry a ton of gear. Plugs, bucks, tins and plenty of room for leaders and other necessities.

Love the lure bag, will hold up well surf fishing this year. Wish the width of the tubes a bit wider. Overall happy with the bag.
So far so good

After one season I'm satisfied with the carry-ability, payload and durability of this bag. I wish it was bigger but I was leery of a large bag when I purchased this bag. It's the perfect size for when you know what you're going to be throwing. Plenty of strap holders for tins and bucktails. Otter tails, leader pouch, finger tape roll, split rings, barrel swivels and fishing clips easily accommodated. Strap is long and easily adjustable. I can squeeze 6-9 plugs up to 8" inside. Some plugs will fill a tube slot while I can also fit 2-3 needles or SP/bomber types into another.
Nice entry level plug bag

Whether youâ€;™;re a beginner or pro this bag is perfect for your plugging needs so you donâ€;™;t have to run back to the beach to swap out plugs!

For the price, its definitely an awesome bag.. It has withstood the test of time. I try to wash it every time it has taken a dunk. Drainage is good, it's functional and, I have yet to loose anything to the surf. A pad on the shoulder strap would be nice, when the bag is loaded up it can get a little annoying after hours of fishing.

Great Bag For Fishing From Surf
April 30, 2019
I bought the Bluewave Bag last season as a smaller plug bag to fish the beach with and honestly works perfect not too big but it can fit anything in it. Pliers holder came in handy in waist deep water and it clips to your wader belt perfectly. Totally would recommend this product for anyone going out in the surf

A nice bag if you're not wesuiting
April 22, 2019
This is a nice simple surf bag. I use it as my night bag when I fish back bays, open beaches and jetties (basically any place where I am not going to really wade and get the bag wet). If you're going to wetsuit and swim out to boulders or wade deep and get your bag soaked, then this is not the bag for you. But if you keep it fairly dry, don't over load the bag, and fish from the sand, or maybe wading up to your knees then this a great bag that holds a ton of bucktails. 3/5 material is sub par and the square tubes means plugs get stuck in corners if you over fill the bag
ProsPrice. Fine for basic use in average conditions
ConsNot made for wet-suiting and fishing in more extreme conditions. (You will want an ODM bag or Gear up bag with a lot of Velcro if you're going to swim and fish really nasty wet conditions)

Good surf/plug bag for the price

The velcro on top is good for easy opening. A mesh on the side can fit 1 or 2 fat cow trailer container. can fit 4-8 plugs and a lot of jigs. the olastic mesh on the bottom facilitates drainage of sea water. helps keep all your plugs and jigs organized and available for easy access.

Perfect Surf Fishing Bag
December 19, 2018
This has greatly help reduce the clutter of gear while surf fishing and keeps everything clean and dry in a compact space. Perfect!

Bought the smaller one. Hold a fat plus per square. But needle fish popper and a slender minnow can cram in one tube.
Lots of extra elastic bullet holder style loops for single hook lures like bucktail or tins.
I can fit all my go to option's for the surf and a spare.
The okumas bag uses the Plano box. That's a good swap bag. Go from bait to jetty to surf in a second.
I use the Shuman for surf and the okumas for bait on the jetty.
Great bag for the buck.
Side has ripped open

Not even using this bag for a month it has already started ripping at the seems and has holes on both sides

Bought the bag for surf casting and fishing the Cape Canal. Have been pleased so far, the bag is well constructed and stores enough plugs, metals, etc. to give you plenty of options to fish. Overall a good bag for the money. If you are looking to carry a lot of plugs may want to consider a different bag as larger plugs you can only fit one per sleeve.
do not buy
June 25, 2018
bought this bag thinking that the reviews were accurate. well to begin the bag opens to the front with velcro, if you take a good wave it can open ( seen u tube videos of this happening to other people) the issue i have had was the entire corner pulled apart after 1 week of fishing the cape cod canal. i was not even fishing hard , leaving the bag on the rocks while casting . there is no reason this should have happened and now the bag is unusable. beware this product is not made well. i am currently looking for a better quality bag and seriously regret my purchase, wish i had just spent the extra up front so i didnt not have to endure this nonsense
Proslots of storage
Consvelcro opening to the front and bag falling open, the stiching on the corners is not strong and poorly thought out

great surf bag

well made plenty of room good price. believe me fish don't care if your surf bag cost $200.
On the small size bag(SHM-1131) the belt loop is 4 1/2 inches in length and from loop to loop is 5 inches. The Medium bag is is also 4 1/2 inches but from loop to loop the length is 7 inches. Both belt loops are designed to fit any belt.
On the small bag, B230, there are 4 white tubes so the pictures on your web site are of the larger bag which is showing 8 white tubes, is this correct ? Also does the smaller bag have the same spots for storing bucktails and tins like the picture shows on your website & the outer pockets also? Please clarify the differences since the picture seems to be of the larger bag and I would like a better idea of what the smaller bag looks like. Thank you, Mike.
They are the same exact bags just different sizes. Yes, both bags have the slots to store bucktails and tins.
